there's a new challenge over at BASB up and going, as well as over at SYC. the two layouts above are for BASB and you have to use this really cool ad as your inspiration. at SYC, the theme is cards, cards and more cards! i tried my hand at the button tree, but it didn't come out nearly as cute as this fab crafty girl's.
here's a pic i took on monday. we try to sit down to dinner every night. sometimes i have to eat in a rush to get to work, but more often than not we sit at this little table and eat something. this night i made baked ziti and it made a yummy lunch for mike and owen the next day. (i had almost an entire 10 oz. tub of hummus for my lunch instead. fyi--and this may be tmi--if you decide to eat that much hummus for lunch, i suggest you don't stray far from home for at least 3-4 hours).
anywho, it took a few tries, but i think this is the best one:
we to see twilight on tuesday with aimee. there were only about 7 people in the theater at the latest showing. i liked it even more the second time around!
i hope to have a video to you by tomorrow night. i will title it, "My Kids Are Weird..."
and maybe something crafty, but highly unlikely.

The BASB layouts are wonderful. I love your take on the ad. It's fun to see the different versions that everybody has been doing.
I think your button tree looks great. I am going to have to try that, too. That will be a great way to get rid of a portion of the million buttons I have.
