busy, bizzy, bizzay

cleaning, putting away, killing stupid ants that are invading my kitchen counter via my garbage disposal switch plate. and working on a website. i'm very pleased with how it's coming along. here's a little sneak of the design i made for it:

going to work more on it now, while the kiddoes are still sleeping, then we're going back to miss Eva's house to use her pool. should be interesting as it is raining today :( so we probably won't do that. may stay home and finish watching the mummy instead. i rented the first one and mich really liked it, so now we rented the second. netflix gets on my nerves cuz we only do one movie at a time and it's usually something he can't watch. not that i don't like netflix, but for mich it just doesn't work out. although it would be cheaper to up our rentals on netflix rather than renting from blockbuster.

anyway, here's one layout i'm going to share:

it's my fave from this weekend. Greta has totally turned me on to the embossing thing with her awesome melty butterfly she made. oh...and the new challenges are up at both SYC and STM! so be sure to check those out...and i, in turn, have made Aimee want to go buy powders and guns (that sounds weird), and also a button kit and something else. i'm not sure she remembers either b/c it's the one thing we kept forgetting.

ick...

yucky...i've been sick all day today. started yesterday afternoon. my throat has just been the worst it has been since i can remember. it is bad. very bad. can't even talk. mike kinda' likes that though. anyway, i've been sleeping/lounging all day today. trying to keep owen from getting lonely just hanging out on the floor by himself but it was hard to interact with him today. poor little guy. he's so cute. you just want to squeeze his little head off. tee-hee.

no scrapbooking today. i had to do website work for two clients. ooh, that makes me sound so official...'clients'. well, i guess they are they're paying me. i finished the one. all the info was already made there, just made the site new and copied all the wording. easy, sneezy. the shell is there for the other one, just have to write in all the stuff. that's the worst part. don't know if they have an editor that does spell check. i'm sure they must, but i don't have it.

that's about all for now. maybe i'll do some scrappin' or something in a bit to give my eyeballs a rest from the puter. they really need it. had a pic to post of a flyer that came home with mich yesterday for a field trip. some live show/interactive kids thing. fine. ok. i'll give him the $4.50 to go. i'd go too, but i cannot bring owen b/c there isn't enough room for the siblings. so, anyway, they send home this flyer. it reads: "ALL ABROAD FOR EDUCATIONAL FUN". no, i didn't misspell that. it really said all abroad. come on, people. you're teaching my kid? wtf???

mail can be scary...

so, i go to the box today and find these two letters in there. i always check to make sure of the sender and recipient b/c the postman gets it jacked half the time with so many tenants in this complex. anyway, so i got scared! yipes! i'm being audited and then some other weird thing from the state! whaaat???

so i open them. one is from the RNC wanting money and the other is from Southern Living wanting me to subscribe. crazy! what a relief! then i looked back in the box and my Scrapbooks, Etc. was in there. so, bonus!!! no bills! no audits! no weird thing from the state. i guess i should have known; it would have said IRS or something. but i just got a little scared.

had lunch with mich today then went to the bookstore and i have work to do for them. i think. they don't have much to update and since i don't know the daily goings-on, it's hard to say what to update with unless they tell me specifically and they never email me any info. i also have to do more work on the pool website for my sis. i think since i'm making a nice new template for them, i will just copy it and give the bookstore a new look as well. two birds with one stone. that's about all for now. gotta get back to work. oh, and if you haven't been yet, be sure to check out the diner! there are so many new ladies there taking part in this week of 'challenges'. we are just having a ball. we even have pirates there! :)
