i'm here!

i suck about keeping up with this like over the last year. but i decided to take a break from my summer class and post something i made. i bought this photo tray forever ago and, since my scraproom is sorta picked up, i decided to work on it. so, here it is as per my usual filling in squares with things...pics taken with a fancy dirty iphone lens:

a few posts ago, i posted a pic of something my momma made me. i made a new one and really enjoyed making it. i want to make lots more! i have quite a few more pieces to cover, so i think i'll go ahead and make some more.

that's about all for now. kinda bored and i can't stop watching lost. can you tell that i'm paying attention to sawyer and not you?

happy February, folks! there's a new challenge up at SYC and the theme is the title of my post, 'love is in the air'. create whatever you like in honor of Saint Valentine (depending on which history lesson you follow).

i made this canvas. i don't know where i'm going to put it, but once i realized i still had these letters (which i purchased in fall 2007) i couldn't pass up on using them for this challenge.

oh, and roomstore...while i'm really happy with your sales service, i'm beginning to think you need to fire the metroplex area warehouse manager. this is coffee table #3. not good. just as bad as the other two. you send your poor drivers all the way out here (probably a two hour drive without a/c) for no good reason. get a clue people.

love me some Goodwill...

we don't have the best Goodwill here, and i've only actually been one time; enough for me to say that it wasn't worth going back. but, weds. they had 50% off on the sign so i thought i'd give it a shot. ran into an old friend in there, which was good b/c we got to catch up while waiting in the ridiculously long lines. plus, i got the latest dirt on just about everyone in town. but i also found some super cute little fixer-uppers. here's one of them. cost me $1!!!

mike and mich went with pa to go to the boat show. they just called, however, and said they are on their way back b/c there isn't a darn place to park. it's at the convention center in downtown f.w. so....was hoping to get some scrapping done while they were gone, but i guess that blows my idea out of the water. damn civic engineers. get a clue! :)
