remember...

it happened four days before michael was born. my mom was scheduled to fly in to be with me for his birth. i called her when the first plane hit one of the towers. we both thought it was an accident. while still on the phone, the second one hit and then we heard about the pentagon and the plane that had crashed in pennsylvania. mike was at school. he came home early. we watched, shocked for the next month and it still shocks me to see the pictures and know what they did to us.
