the pics are off; lighting is a bit weird today. it's overcast and slightly misting again. i love the rain but i've decided i don't like to go anywhere in it with Owen and a handful of odds and ends. it's almost impossible to get in the car quickly. take yesterday after our lunch with mich at school. disaster. dumped half the stuff i was carrying on the ground and owen ended up kneeling on the pavement. nice one, o. i'm ok with getting rained on, just keep my hands dry. i hate it when my hands are wet! ick!!!
michael has finished the entire goosebumps book he started reading on tuesday. he skips the words he doesn't know and i'm not quite sure how to remedy that, but he is such a good little reader! i hated reading when i was a kid. if i didn't have to read it, i didn't read it. stupid silas marner. blech. i did like books when i was little though. flat stanley rocked. then i guess learning korean kind of empties out your brain. then biology...well, that's another story altogether.
this is all too terribly exciting for a saturday morning. i have to make my boys a late b-fast. chorizo and eggs...yum! hey, when in rome...

You are so creative! What a cute project!
It's great the your son loves to read. I always loved reading - and still do! Some of my kids love to read and others don't. I think it helps them in school though.
So sorry to hear about you mishap in the rain. Have a great weekend!
XOXO

what a very cute hanging. You altered things are always the BEST!
My older ones read all of the Goosebumps books. My 9 year old loves the Bones books and Diary of a Wimpy kid series. It's so great when they love to read :)
Absolutely loving what you did with that kit!
Gorgeous! Love the lace trim around the edges!!
absolutely am loving your decor project. sooooo inspirational. hey- you don't write nonsense- as you said you do in your sc post LOL. it's allll wonderful to read! i love learning about you and your life! :)
Adorable wall hanging! I say hang it somewhere you'll see it often even if it doesn't "match." Every room needs some spring. :)
That's awesome that Michael loves to read! I don't have any advice on how to get him to not skip over words. I'd just say encourage him to ask if there's a word he doesn't know. I'm sure I've skipped over words (and still do), so you don't need to worry too much.
Liz, that hanging is awesome. I love the colors and I would hang it for all to see whether it matches anything or not.
