20,500....time for a RAK...

granted, quite a few of them are probably mine, being that i am always changing the look of my blog and visit it a ga-jillion times to make sure it all works. but...that's still 20,500 in one year. and i'm fairly certain not even i could do all that clicking. and i've been at polkadothouse since january of last year, so it's only fitting that i celebrate this 'new' blog with a gift...

if you visit my blog regularly, THANK YOU! it's nice to know that someone actually reads it...or even if you just look at the pictures, that's fine with me. especially with my incorrect grammar and punctuation. it must be a real pain to sit and read through all this crap all the time! so, again i thank you. and i'm thinking there are a lot of people who read me who don't comment b/c when i blog-hop i see other blogs that link to me that i've never visited! so, i ask why are you hiding? i want to visit you too! if you read me, it's obvious that we have something in common, right?

so maybe this will get you out of lurkdom... if you leave me a comment and a link to your place in cyberspace, i will gladly add your name to the list so you have a chance to win this:

it's an Amy Butler tool bag. very cute. it caught my eye...the green one and the pink. i settled on pink. (and i know, some of you have seen sale at Michael's, but it's the thought that counts right? and i know you're thinking, 'wow! they're on sale at Michael's?' but isn't it more fun to say that you won it? if the random number generator doesn't pick you, feel free to go buy one!)

now how cute would you look going to a crop or a craft night with this little puppy? and sure, i bought it for myself..duh! but, i never go anywhere to scrapbook anymore so...have at it girls!

but, you have to leave a comment obviously, or i won't know you visited...and be sure to bring a friend over! oh, i'll pick a winner on monday afternoon (2/4)

and now for some drinks...

the other night when we had our ice storm, mike made me hot chocolate in my fave cup. i didn't get this in ny. i found it at goodwill when i was stationed at ft. meade. it reminded me of home, so i got it...and soaked it in bleach forever and a day.

and then, yesterday morning i was feeling healthy (or unhealthy and maybe thinking i needed to be healthy) and made this little number. frozen blackberries, those single serving containers or vanilla fat free yogurt, 1 cup OJ, some ice and blend it...YUM! (add more or less juice depending on how icy you want it.)

enjoy today! it's the only january 29th 2009 you'll ever get!

You don't need to include me in your drawing ... I don't go anywhere either and I'm flush with tool bags already.
But since the purpose of your post was really to find out who has been lurking on your blog, I thought I'd post.
And now I'm craving a smoothie. Gonna go make one.

Awesome RAK! Does the bag come with a smoothie? Dang that looks good. :o) You can remove me from the drawing, because your friendship is enough. I know...sniff.

Kristii said...

The smoothie looks delicious!!! I just like checking out your blog girl!! Your projects always rock!! I would rather just take an afternoon and share a smoothie with you, so you can take my name out of the running as well, but the bag is way cute!!! Have a great day!!

Okay, I am leaving a comment because I know what it feels like to have people read your blog and not leave a comment. Not that that many read mine, perhaps 20 or so a day but I get the same two people leaving me comments every day. One is my sil and the other a friend met through blogging. Now, that being said, I would LOVE to win the bag. I read your blog everyday. I do look at the photos and I also love your writing. You are so honest and straightforward which is very refreshing.
I promise not to lurk any more and leave more comments.
Have a groovy day!

I'm fairly new to your blog (via being new at SC), but I'm definitely a repeat customer - I love it! I'll try to be conversational in the future. (I'm also fairly new to the online scrapping and blogging community, so very little to see on my end, but I love the few visitors I get while I try to find my cyber identity)
