turned 7 yesterday! we've been super busy with cub scouts. we sold popcorn on saturday, had a family bday party later on in the day. then we went to another party for mike's nephew who is getting ready to go back to iraq. well, he is probably already there or somewhere thereabouts.
here are some pics of my little tiger cub selling popcorn and some from his party.
i have to prepare for his 'kid' bday part which will be on the 20th. we were rained out by ike. most of the prep is complete, but we'll still have to set up. the same day we'll have a soccer game and a tiger cub den 'go see it'. should be interesting. i don't know how kids play more than one sport or other activity. i'm just not thinking it can be done.
our first tiger cub den meeting was last night. i had not a clue what i was doing! i guess i need to re-read the handbook and do some better planning. BUT, michael said he had a lot of fun and that i was 'real smart' to teach them all that stuff. also, another mom emailed me to tell me that her son had fun. this was the same mom whose email address i mis-read when i wrote our contact list. instead of 'busymom...' i typed 'lousymom...' it wasn't a typo, i really thought the 'b' was 'lo'!!! how stinkin' funny is that. and how embarrassing. but, her kid had fun, so i don't think she's holding my goof against me.
anyway, i'm not sure what all i'm going to get done today. just one thing at a time, i guess. but i wanted to update to show off my handsome little tiger cub. cutest one in the pack by far!

I signed up at studio Calico when I found out about Aleida so I could pay my respects. I got several emails from people saying how happy they were to see me (SHOCK) so I kinda have just hung a little. I just don't do the message board thing so much any more.
