fun times!

i went to a crop at crop, paper, scissors in waco. Kelly Goree (from Basic Grey--like you don't know) taught three classes on saturday...and who would i be to live so close and not sign up for the whole deal?

as usual, i didn't get much work done. i was just having too much fun being silly. this is the only thing i made in the almost 5 hours of cropping (we arrived late):

i shopped around for some inspo, cuz the layouts just weren't coming. then i spotted these little hangers and about 1/2 an hour later it was done. (good thing, b/c it was almost time to leave!)

the classes were wonderful. one layout and two mini albums. i hope to finish them soon and will post when i do.

now for the peeps...
me, Aimee, and Kelly. Kelly was such an awesome instructor and was really just like one of the girls. a ton of fun.

everyone should have two pairs...
i sooo wish we had this up where i am. what a great shop!
me and Stephaniem'lady and snow trooper with lace card....snow tropper buddy. he gave us, well me, quite a few laughs. everyone else was probably laughing b/c they thought i was a complete nut-job.
Aimee looking super excited.

we left Friday afternoon for our trip. stayed at an ok joint (it was super close. nothing classy--at all. but the price was right and it was not even 2 minutes from the scrapbook store and lots of eateries.) we got to the crop late, but nobody had really started working on anything anyway by the time we got there. the SC bunch was there--well, the local SC bunch: Stephanie H., Jacquie Dean and her friend Diane, a newly discovered SC'er, Rita, and Reyanna were there. Reyanna got a pic of the whole gang and i hope that she posts it soon.

Looks like you had too much fun! Wait - there's no such thing as too much fun. I would have been laughing with you about Storm Trooper, not at you...just sayin'.

And your hanger project - way cute! Something like that would take me hours to do. I can't believe you whipped it out so quick! Dang girl...teach me!

Feeling a tad bit jealous in my lonely scrapping world :) I'm so glad you had fun!!! Love your hanger project!!!!! I seriously think you need to start teaching altered project classes (of course, you must do it in Chicago)!!!!

Also, just wanted to tell you how much I love your new blog design.
