back for a bit...

it's started! the awesome, blogless JUDI has put up the first post! it's about a 'first'. you have make a layout about a first. awesome idea don't you think? don't have a clue what i'm talking about? check here at the BASB!!! there's a RAK involved...and lemme tell you, i've received one from Judi before and she rocks!

here's my handsome boy...just a random photo of him getting his coat on for school. ooh, look how clean my toaster oven looks! (not b/c i just cleaned it...i haven't cooked anything in about 2 weeks for my poor family.)

it was nice to wake up this morning and realize that i have an extra hour! but, it's already gone...if that makes any sense!

anywho, we went to the church trunk of treat on wednesday since i had to work on friday. mike took the boys out by my mil's house on halloween. he didn't score much candy; it was pretty dead. i think everyone went up to the college for the 'safe halloween'. mike wasn't about to do that, so...

here are a few pics from halloween. owen would not stand still for anything, so the one kind of looks like a movie-set shot, don't you think?

mich is at the races today with g-ma and pa. yesterday, he scored the only goal for his team at his game but they still lost 2-1. that's ok. they played a much better team than last week where they won 7-0.

and the only thing crafty i have to post is something i didn't make. i got a beautiful card in the mail yesterday from my friend Dawn. i was so happy that she was thinking about me. and i love the paper she used. my newest fave--BG Ambrosia.

it's nice to know that even when i'm not online too much anymore and don't get to talk to anybody much, my friends are all still thinking about me. they're like family in that way. they don't care if you're busy with family and work and don't get a chance to chat; they still like you. and that's nice. :) you really made my day Dawn. Thank you!

The awesome blogless Judi. LOL! That line cracks me up, because it is so true. Look at her stepping up. I think she is almost ready for her own blog now. LOL!!!

Great Halloween picks. Sorry you had to work, but glad that you still had the church to-do.

Oh...Dawn's card is beautiful! I just love her style. What you said is absolutely true. We are thinking of you, because that's what friends do. You are stuck with us forever. LOL!
