i'm back...

and what a great weekend! Eva was simply the best host and I truly hope she'll let us return. she made us yummy snacks, breakfast, dinners...it was wonderful! and her house--well holy cow! the decor is so cozy and warm. her scrapbook room is her old garage. (i say old b/c they now have a new garage). so, it's that big with countertops, cabinets, a huge area of tables, quilting supplies (she does that as well), antique furniture she has put to use for her hobbies...just wonderful. and, a secret fabric room with bolts and bolts of fabric on shelving all the way up to the ceiling! seriously, she has more than wally-mart. i was simply in heaven looking at everything!

i have a new web-site 'client' so i won't get to do much creating this week. i did quite a bit over the weekend, however, with layouts and felt. no pics yet. i'll share them here and there throughout the week. but here's one thing. it's a little linty from being in my pocketbook all weekend. hey, is linty a word?

i saw these done online a while back (don't know where, but it was more than one place) and have been trying to figure out how to cut the felt. well, i have now done it! this one is attached to a pony-tail holder, but i have other ones on snap clips (thanks for that Stephanie Howell), some on magnets, and some still just laying around waiting for some stretchy bracelet bands.

later kids!!!

Love the peek at the felt flower! Are you going to sell them at your etsy shop? My DD has just enough hair for a clip, and I'm on the lookout for more.
