weekend update...

to start, these are flippin' awesome! we went grocery shopping and this was the only thing that kept owen quiet. i made the mistake of having ONE, and then i couldn't stop.

so, i haven't blogged all weekend! wow. that's a new record for me. but i've been busy not being busy. let's see, new blog. i had a ton of fun making it and changed the colors about 800 times; mike finally said he likes these colors the best. i'm sure i will change at least the colors in a few weeks or so. i'm like that.

my children are both turkeys. mich has a huge lump on his forehead from being a goober and smashing into the door. that, and he got a tattoo from the gumball machine that reads "Laugh Now, Cry Later". what a weird child.

we rented the goonies for him on friday. he loves it! the language is less than wonderful, but mike loved this movie when he was a kid and the two of them (well, owen too) sat and watched it on the couch. i never realized how bad all those kid actors were. like martha plimpton, corey feldman, sean astin...puh-leez...they were so bad!

then there's owen, the next harrison ford...any suggestions for taking pics of a blue-eyed kid? perhaps no flash? always with the red-eye, then i use the red-eye tool and he looks like a ghost or something.

anyway, i was making stuff for my etsy shoppe and still have a few things unfinished. here's a pic of my fabric brads. these were a real pita; very difficult to get going as you have to mess with the metal and it hurt my hands a bit. oh well. it's all good b/c i love them.

have a great day kids!

What program are you using to remove the red-eye? I've got a blue eyed boy and never had that problem. Very confusing! Like the new blog look.

I love the new blog! Regarding your blue eyed beauty, try turning off the flash.
Have a groovy week!

it doesn't seem like a lot but i think it was two years ago now that we had enough to buy new software for the computer lab.

Turn off that flash and bump up your ISO to get a great non-demon eyed shot.
Love those brads.
And Goonies rocks, horrible acting, potty mouths and all. It's one of our favs.
