mike and i went out, just the two of us! Aimee watched the boys for us (and we'll watch her girls next time for Ken and her) and we went to see The Dark Knight. honestly, i really liked the first one better, but this one was still really good. the first one had a lot of back-story and i liked seeing how he became batman. anyway, mike was not too happy that i "turned our night out into a blog post"...but he obliged and here we are at Aimee's before heading out to the movie, the first 'real' picture of us together since we were stationed at Ft. Campbell (i think i'll have to scan that one and share it. non-digital photo). and honestly the last movie we can remember seeing in the theater together was Star Wars II and then before that i think it was Emperor's New Groove (but we went with an Army buddy, Chris Blanch)...
so, the boys were well behaved. i don't know what goes one when i'm not around, but i never hear anything bad, so i guess michael minds his manners even though i didn't know he had any as he always seems to forget them when he's around me. why is that? owen was sitting in a laundry basket with a plastic ladle when we got back, so i can certainly say that he had a blast; the boy never plays with his own toys, always things that aren't toys. silly child.
so, thank you again Aimee for watching the boys!
and the theater was like an ice-box. and i always get made fun of when i wear long sleeves or a jacket to a movie. that's why!
and, why do i do this?
i have all this space now and i trap myself into this tiny little corner? what is up with that? i mean, i seriously can't even move...losing everything. doy.
hope you had a great day!

the boys were so good! they are welcome here anytime, seriously! now kimber on the other hand did not like sharing m. i think that day at your house when she had him all to herself got to her head. she punched lg two different times. yes, punched not a little hit. so hope m doesn't pick up her nasty little habit! and owen...he had m and me laughing so hard! i took a pic to put up tomorrow. btw, m does have manners and uses them very well!
I wear long sleeves to the movie theater too!! We saw the dark night too, and I agree, I liked the first one better too! Great pics girl! I'm impressed your hubby let you take his picture. Such is the life of a scrapper!!lol!
Glad you had a great time!!! I do the same thing with my room....end up working in a 2 x 2 space.
I'm glad you were able to get out together - thanks for the reminder: i need to schedule a date with my hubby! Your scrap space looks well-loved and I like all the custom touches you've added.
that's a super cute pic of the two of you ... and i hear ya on the scrap space. i always end up working myself into a tiny corner! LoL.
Cool that you got a date night! switching off watching kids is such a great opportunity for both couples. And that whole work space thing, well considering my messy surroundings, it's hard for me to advise, but I think it's probably pretty common!
i am so happy that ya'll got to go out and that you have someone who can watch the boys for those nights out...they are needed a deserved!!
and i trap myself in a small space too and i have a huge scraproom....i guess we work better in close quarters, eh?
