all hail...

um....the hail.

we missed an actual tornado by like 13 miles or so. well, not exactly sure. the weatherman had an argument with the chopper guy about it being and actual tornado. kinda funny. but not so much . we all gathered in the bathroom though. it was pretty scary. michael was scared and said it sounded like really loud popcorn. we let him look at it through the window and he calmed down a little bit b/c then he just thought it was cool. my friend, aimee, who lives just across the street from me...her kids said that it looked like sonic (fast food joint) spilled all their ice. and it really did!

we are all ok here. no damage here or at the new house. (we were tempted to go over there and put our cars in the garage even though it's not really our house yet but, we didn't.) luckily, again, no damage. my keyboard is getting low on batteries, i think. keeps skipping.

anywho, people east of me (aleida, jessi, and all you e. tx bloggin' gals...stay safe...it's heading that way!!!)

pics of the interior of the new house coming later tonight or tomorrow a.m. after the gym. stay tuned!!!

WOW! What seriously CRAZY weather! I thought we here (in New England) got that kind of weather, especially this late in the year! Can't wait to see pics from your new Home and I would LOVE (and be honored) to be added to your blog list. :-)

Hey thanks for the well wishes. The storm did not hit me...well we got the rain. I thank the Good Lord cause I cannot afford the damage, mentally or in the pocket book. Although as I drove off to work yesterday and looked at my house, part of the roof was flapping in the wind. Looked like a toupee. Ha. So they should come on are attach that portion back on. Gosh be prepared for the ills of homeownership girl. I love owning my home, more than renting but then shit like this happens and it hurts. :)

You gotta be kidding?! That's crazy mad. We're enjoying very summer like weather here in Massachusetts. Go figure that one.
